XP PROJECTS
|
XP Technical Solutions provides links to project-websites that are currently under construction by us or our subsidiary branches (when provided). The projects here are listed by request of the client, for the purpose of monitoring progression.
XP suggests that you use Mozilla Firefox for all your web browsing. Firefox has anti-virus and anti-fraud protections that Internet Explorer does not supply as standard. XP optimizes all websites for Firefox/Netscape browsers first. We will ensure that our web sites and pages are viewable and navigable in all major browsers (including IE). When necessary, we will build browser-specific web pages. Please note, that during the construction of your website, it is best to use Mozilla Firefox to ensure that you are viewing the web page correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions about our projects page |
1. XP is building my website; why is it not listed on this page? |
| |
XP lists website projects by request. If you would like your website listed on this page while it is under construction, please contact your web designer. Also, it is possible that your website is being built by a designer at one of our subsidiary branches, please check to see if your website is listed on the projects page of our subsidiaries.
|
2. Why is my website listed on this page? |
| |
If you did not request that your website be added to our projects page, it is possible that XP listed it for your convenience or in order to collaborate with other designers on your project.
|
3. Why does my web page display slowly? |
| |
During construction, XP designers frequently use .PNG files for all pictures and graphics on your website. We use .PNGs instead of .JPGs and .GIFs because they leave open the capability for editing. Once your webpage design is agreed upon, the .PNG files will be converted to smaller files and your website will load much faster.
|
4. Why are some of the elements on my page displaying incorrectly?/Why is the format incorrect? |
| |
Please make sure that you are using the appropriate browser to view the page. Unless noted, XP prefers that you use Mozilla Firefox to view the web pages while they are under construction. Your website will work with all browsers when it is finalized.
If you sure that you are viewing your website with the proper browser, please contact your designer about the problem.
|
5. Why do the links not work? |
| |
Links and active content will not function in the primary designs of your web page. Once we begin to build out the content of your website, most links should work. Active content and forms (like contact forms) will not work until the website is uploaded to your web host server. |
